Texas is one of my favorite places. I’m currently designing a new house in west Texas. It will be next door to an existing house. The guy in the existing house just called me. He began with, “I will sue you unless…” His demand was that I guarantee that the new house would be planned in such a way, that whenever the new owner might grill-out, or have a fire in his fireplace, all smoke would blow away from the existing owner’s house, “Always!” he emphasized.
I explained that I did not possess power to direct smoke, even if I planned for it. I added, that should I ever find myself in possession of such omnipotent power, he would be one of my first considerations to be converted to smoke. He hung up.
